#6 Raw and Green Potatoes

If you prepare and cook your potatoes they are okay to feed your pet in moderation (especially since quality dog foods include potatoes), however, unripe and raw potatoes are toxic to dogs, just like they are to humans.

Why it can be bad for dogs:

If you discover that your dog has eaten raw potatoes, he may experience vomiting, nausea, and even seizures and heart irregularities!

What to do:

Depending on the amount your dog consumed, raw green potatoes may not be as dangerous as some of the other veggies and fruits on the list, but you should still avoid giving them to your dog.
