Dog Flu Outbreak: Protect Your Pooch!

Dog's can't get the flu…. Can they? Indeed they can. It just isn't a common concern within the U.S. But recently, a new strain of doggy flu virus that experts believe came from Asia, has been affecting dogs all over the Midwest, and the results haven't been good. Several dogs have died from this new flu. Rumors have been circulating that the issue stemmed from a doggy day care center. A service many working pet owners gladly pay for, as the businesses offer to take care of their pets (exercise, socializing, feeding, etc) while they are away at work.

We know what the flu feels like and it isn't at all pleasant. The human flu virus cannot be spread to our pets, however scientists have not ruled out whether this new strain of dog flu can affect humans.
