As much as it is hard to think about, our pooches at one time or another are going to have pain. Sometimes it is rather obvious when they're in pain, like if you accidentally step on a paw (ouch!), they'll let you know by yelping. However, there are other times where they may unintentionally try and hide it!

Don't feel bad if you didn't recognize that your pup was in pain. There are a variety of signs that are challenging to notice. Thankfully, however, there are ways to look for the signs so that if your fur child is acting differently you can see if something is up.

If you do find out or think that your fur baby is in pain, it's important to act fast and get him the medical treatment he needs. Some of the symptoms could be a sign that it's serious and that it could be a potentially life-threatening health concern.

To find out if your doggie is dealing with pain and what symptoms you should be on the look out for in the future, check out 10 slides that'll help you know what to look for in the future.
