pug sleeping on bed

We all have different preferences when it comes to bed time. Some like the bed all to themselves while others choose to share their bed with their doggies.

Pet owners are all too familiar to the stigma that comes from either allowing their pooch on the bed or letting them sleep in a separate area.

It can either be really great or very bad for you. Both preferences are backed by evidence and personal comfort. However, it still leaves many of us with the same question in mind. Is it helpful or harmful to allow your pooch to sleep with you at night?

  1. I have had my pug Peaches for almost a year now and she has slept with me every night. I’m going to the beach in June for 5 days and I’m already stressing out because she can’t go with me. What am I going to do?!?!?

  2. Ask you best friend to take care of her. They know how much she means to you. Mother used to take care of our two when we traveled. Now that she is gone my bestie comes over and stays with the pigs.

  3. Pookie slept with me for 15 years. ..until the day came, and I put her little dog bed right next to my night stand….I think she forgot. ….but, I really miss her snoring. …she is keeping all our beloved pets up….snoring at the Rainbow Bridge!

  4. Didn’t even read the article. They always have and always will unless they have to be kept alone. For a medical reason. Otherwise they sleep with us. Very comforting for me and them.

  5. My TERMINATOR went to the rainbow bridge last Monday. He was 14. He slept with me since he was 7 weeks. I am unable to sleep without his snoring. Everytime he went out doggie door, drink or snack I woke up and hunted him.
I still have Rambo (10) but he doesn’t snore. I’m not sure who misses him more me, Rambo, Aphrodite (5 months seal point Siamese), HERCULES (6months Lynx point Siamese).

    Miss my guard dog.
