Is A Dog’s Nose The Key To Identifying Health Problems?

Whether you believe it or not, more and more dogs are being trained to be life-saving service animals that help people in need. Whether someone has a severe mental disorder or suffers from diabetes, dogs can be trained to assist them in a difficult situation.

Furthermore, these animals become the person's best friend, which helps them read the life-threatening signals.

For some people, such as a twelve-year-old boy named Athan, having a service dog is life-saving. J’Lo, a three-pound Papillon, is trained to alert the little boy and his mother when his blood sugar is off and when she feels something is wrong with the little boy.

Many times her predictions are accurate and due to her constant care she has helped the little boy's blood sugar stay in the range it needs to be.
