Dogs, with their heavy coats, were not meant for soaring temperatures. Heatstroke is a sincere health risk for any pet. When experts tell dog owners not to leave pets in a hot car they are very serious about your canine buddy’s well-being.

However, in or out of the car, it is important to identify any sign(s) of stress and over-heating in a pet-companion. What can a dog owner do if they suddenly acknowledge that man’s best friend is growing ill from the Summer heat? A dog’s pant is not the only sign that “Rover” is too hot.
