Baby It’s Cold Outside, But You Can Still Exercise Fido With These Tips

xercise Fido dailyIf you find yourself hibernating indoors because it's cold outside, remember that not only do you need exercise, but your pooch needs exercise too. So get your butt off the sofa and think of creative ways both of you can get active.

For starters why not try a game of tug of war? Hide-and-seek is another great way for you to have fun hiding the treats and Fido will get ramped up running around the house trying to find them. Buying a doggy treadmill is another option for indoor exercise, as well as organizing a doggy play date with a few of your pooch's friends.

In regards to finding exercise activities outside your home, try signing up your doggy for agility or swimming class. Many cities have doggy swimming pools, so all you need to do is inquire and find out where there is one nearby. You can take Fido there to get a nice swim, and you can even get in with him and go swimming yourself!
