We know as human beings that dental hygiene is very important. Bad gums and teeth are not just painful but can lead to so many other problems, including digestion and breath difficulties!
Believe it or not, the same can be said for dogs too! Out in the wild, they chew on sticks, stones, bones and any number of items to force away plaque and scum.
And while your domesticated pup may have the help of hard kibble and the occasional soup bone or Milk Bone © it really is not enough to do its teeth and gums justice.
What Fido really needs is a good tooth brushing, but as a doggy owner it may feel odd brushing your dog's teeth! If you think it’s odd for you to do, you can just imagine what your dog is feeling!
Still, brushing his teeth will keep them healthy, prevent tooth decay, and as he grows older your pooch will sincerely appreciate that he can eat hard foods into his teens!
Go over to the next page to read up on the steps to brush your pooch’s teeth!
