Summer is here and with it comes scorching hot weather. While that is no mind-blowing revelation what is to some dog owners is that their dog is in danger of experiencing heat stroke!
Those of you who keep an “outside dog” must be especially diligent. Without plenty of water and shade your dog can find himself in serious trouble!
Besides people who suffer from the heat, there is dogs suffering who live in houses without air conditioning. If you see your pooch panting more than what is normal there may be a good reason for it.
At least put on a fan. Remember cool air is not just your friend but Rover will thank you too!
There are actually 5 serious threats that may cause your dog to come down with heatstroke, and if you go over to page two, we will explore them in some depth.
