Mushrooms And Your Dog – How Toxic They Are And…

… what you need to do if the two should meet!

Mushrooms. They’re good on a pizza but not necessarily in your pooches stomach. Now, having said this, not all mushrooms are toxic. However, if you have any worries, if you see your dog behaving strangely after ingesting one or two, then you seriously might consider taking Rover to the veterinarian.

By the way, if there are more in the area, it’s also always a good idea to stick a sample in a zip top baggy (Don’t we all have a baggy in our purse or pocket?) and take it with you to the vet for analyses.

The problem with mushrooms, whether they be in the backyard or perhaps out in the forest where you’ve been walking you pooch, is it’s hard to detect what is poisonous and what is harmless.

Please, go over to page two to learn more about “death caps”, what you should do if your pup has eaten questionable mushrooms, and what your vet might do to cure him.
