It's hard seeing a dog grow old, and depending on what type of dog you own, certain health conditions may affect different dog breeds. Even though you can't control what health issues will come up for your pooch, you can get a healthy dog and we have some great news for you!
Whereas some dogs don't live that long due to predisposed health issues that are a part of their genetics or because they were born with health problems already, there are some dog breeds that are known to have long lives. These particular dog breeds also don't have as many health issues! If you'd prefer to get a doggie who will have a longer lifespan than your average dog, then you should keep reading!
You'll be pleasantly surprised at how long some of these dog breeds live and this helpful list will make your next doggie selection hopefully a lot easier. And, if your current doggie isn't on this list don't fret! You can still give him the best life by providing him with regular exercise and giving him an excellent diet! Don't allow stats to make you feel sad!
On the next page, you'll begin to find out what dog breeds tend to live the longest. Also, stay tuned until the end for a surprise. You'll be happy to learn more about doggie #8!
