5 Things Pet Parents Do That Their Fur Children Really Hate

pug and woman hugging

We may not think about it because we really are our dog’s world. However, in the same way they occasionally do something we disapprove of, we too do things that annoy our pet!

Yeah, it’s kind of hard to believe considering all we do for our dogs but, when you think about it, if we did the same things to each other that we do to our dog(s), then maybe they do have room to be peeved!

Interestingly, we’ve done many of these things to our pooch without ever having thought the dog was uncomfortable! When we think back there is indeed doggy body language that tells us it was probably not the best idea – and many of these things were done with love and tenderness!

  1. My husband looks like a grouch here, but he’s really not! Our oldest black,Yeager, is sitting beside him. Our newest senior adoption, is Pugsley. He was orphaned last spring and now he is part of our family. It was a big adjustment going from one owner as the only dog to our pack of 7! Now he loves his brothers and sisters!! His previous owners family just threw him out in the back yard for the HOT southern Mississippi heat. I’m so glad I got him before he perished. He’s a hunk of LOVE!!!

  2. I had a pug who passed away in June, loved her more than anything in the world and she gave hugs, when my husband would hug me she would climb up on my chest then his and lean her face onto your cheek, so I don’t believe the hugging part either.
