As much as we love them, there are times when our dogs do the strangest things and we simply cannot figure out why they do it! Why are they wired to do such odd things?!

Our own dog has this weird habit of dragging out his favorite toy when company comes over and he starts to – how do we put this politely? – become familiar with it. He never does this with his family – only when friends and acquaintances make an appearance! Bizarre!

Then there are other things like sniffing another dog’s butt or eating his own or another pup’s excrement. Ewww! What is with that?!
