A pug is cute. Nothing shocking in that, is there? Usually, the cute uniqueness of a pug – whether it be black or tan – is enough to get any dog lover to a dog breeder. What is not to like? They are small, adorable and uncomplicated, right?

Well, a pug does have its issues but their personalities make up for any inconvenience and their loyalty is beyond the anticipated.

However, pet lovers, with a few exceptions, know very little about this breed, even that they were the chosen pets of Chinese emperors and the French elite! In other words, they are a breed at least a thousand years in the making!
