As you come across dog breeds as you run your errands or take a jog in your neighborhood, you're most likely used to seeing typical, but adorable mixed dog breeds. Mixed dog breeds are much more common than purebred or even “designer” dogs, such as a Pomeranian or Puggle.
However, at your local animal shelter, you're likely to have met even more mixed breeds and perhaps you've even seen some dogs that have distinct coat patterns. They're rare, but when one dog breed is bred with another dog who already has a one-of-a-kind coat, usually the puppies turn out with similar striking colors and patterns on their coats.
Today you're in luck — you get to see what 12 doggies with these distinct coat patterns look like. And let me tell you — they are absolutely gorgeous.
I guarantee you've never seen dogs that look this unique before! These distinctive colors on mixed-bred dogs have very unique features that truly stand out! Some even have different eye colors and other distinct features that make them look all the more adorable.
When you see these beautiful dogs you'll have a hard time not falling in love with every single one of them. Just wait until you see the Pug on the last page — I still can't get over how striking his coat patterns are!
After the break, enjoy seeing 12 dogs and their distinctly colored coats. They're shocking and stunning!

They are so cute. Had one for 7 years and 2 of those years had to put him down . He had seizures and can’t control it and Meds didn’t help.

How can they be AKC registered when brindle is not a recognized pattern in pugs?

I too, have never seen this color or the markings of some of the others. Black and Tan? Or the half fawn half black face? My son showed me an albino pug? I don’t know … I like the fawn, black, silver an apricot color?
