Why Dogs Like to Eat Poop, Roll Around in Gross Stuff, and Other Interesting Facts!

When you initially adopt a pooch, there are many fun and exciting behaviors to appreciate and marvel over. Then, over the months, some of those behaviors become rather curious.

You try to understand, but there are questions. Why does Fido do some of the odd things he does?

Part of it may be a learned behavior, perhaps something you’ve done or said in the past that initiates your pooch’s actions.

You may not even be aware of what you are doing, but Rover has a better memory than you think. Then, there are instinctive reactions, such as hair standing on end and tail tucking.

Admittedly, some of these are a little distasteful, like the eating of poop and your pooch rolling in some disgusting things, but it is very helpful to know why on earth our dogs do these actions. Think of it as a human-dog relations therapy!
