Think Dogs Don’t Like Sharing Their Food? This Study’s Results Will Surprise You!

Unless they are trained not to be, dogs are pretty much friendly and wanting to be social with people. Often times the nicest dog may not feel the same regarding others of their own species. How often have we seen our pup’s hackles rise at the sight of another pooch encroaching on his territory?

Still, on their own, they are more than willing to receive hugs and kisses and play “toy” with you. And, if they are initiated early enough, they will want to do the same with another pooch.

But what if it comes down to … food? While we have seen evidence to the contrary that dogs don't like sharing their food, science actually tells us different! Researchers in Austria conducted an experiment on dogs and their behavior when it comes to sharing food with other pups.
