You and your dog have become buds over the years, but you have to admit there are times when Rover does something odd or even gross, and it makes you wonder if he is taking advantage of your friendship. LOL!
Did you enjoy that time when he sat beside you after eating breakfast then belched or expelled gas? Pretty awful, right? It might surprise you to know that he is showing affection.
If he did the same thing while hungry, it might be a clue that dinner needs to be served ASAP but on a full tummy Spot is just showing love and admiration!
There are probably only a few dogs who you know who don't get upset when you leave for work. If your pooch is like this and he stays relaxed and does not make a fuss when you leave, that does not mean he could care less. It just means he trusts you enough to stay relaxed while you're away. He knows you're coming back — and he will show off his love for you when you walk in the door again!
