Many pet owners love having their pooches a part of their family photos. In fact, Fido might be the one announcing a new baby that's on the way or a new job via cards that are being sent out in the mail. Your pooch may also be a part of every Christmas card, because why not? Since a doggy is a part of the family, they're included in holiday cards. It's an easy way for owners to share their love for their family including their pup.
Did you know in Britain they included their pets in photos as early as the 16th century? So in case you thought including your pooch in your family photos today is a new development, it's not. Doggies have been showing up in family portraits for a long, long time.
I happen to love that the Brits included their pets in their photos and continue to do so! It shows that pets were important even way back then.
You'll love seeing the photos from way back when after the break. The pooches look just as cute back then as they do today!
