At one time or another, we have all seen that precious little head tilt. The one that seems to make us believe that our pup is questioning something we have asked of him or, at least, that Spot is trying to understand our strange voice and ways.
Our dog has not done it since he was small and the tilt is memorable. There were little chicks on television and their tiny “cheep-cheep-cheep” noises not only had his head tilting but those ears flickering around, seemingly in an attempt to comprehend that peculiar sound. It was humorous and adorable!
After the break, you will find four excellent explanations as to why your dog behaves in this curious way.
The reasoning for your dog’s head tilt may not be exactly what you expect. After all, each dog reacts differently to certain stimuli. However, now would be a very good time to compare and take notes!
