The united states is full of people with allergies. A lot of these allergies surround animals. Unfortunately, many feel that they are unable to own a dog if they have allergies, and we can't blame them. This logic seems very reasonable. However there are some great dog breeds that are hypoallergenic!

Humans can be allergic to a variety of dog related things. For example, some people are allergic to the fur itself. Others are allergic to the dogs saliva, which get's spread around when the dog licks itself. And then there are allergies that stem from dust mites. These nasty little bugs infesting a dogs coat must be treated in order to fix the problem.

If a dog is infested with dust mites, we recommend taking them to a vet for proper treatment. It's an unpleasant problem, but the good news is that once the dust mites are gone, the allergy to dust mites is gone as well.
