    A local breeder has brindle pugs. They’re unusual looking–I prefer the black or fawn. Does anyone know if the AKC recognizes them? I was thinking that they dont, but the breeder claimed they do. I haven’t researched it.

    I have a brindle Pug. My Sadie girl looks very similar to this Pug. Both of her parents were brindle as well. I believe it started my breeding a French Bulldog and a Pug, then breeding those pups on down the line. I don’t care if Sadie’s not AKC. She is beautiful and unique. She turns heads everywhere she goes! ❤️

    This is due to improper breeding, I love pugs very much but people shouldn’t be breeding dogs unless they know what they are doing, and upholding the utmost in breeding standards.
