It never occurred to us how sensitive dog’s eyes were to light. Although, when we thing about it, it does make sense. Our own pup often hides his eyes while in the car and exposed to direct sunlight through the windshield.

The data about night vision, while not an epiphany, was also very interesting. If ever you were in doubt about it go outside after sundown and watch your pooch move around items you would definitely need a flashlight to feel safe maneuvering!
