Each day, more than 10,000 dogs are euthanized. This number is heartbreaking and makes us want to adopt as many dogs as possible, even though we know that's not an option.
It's incredibly important to adopt your pets from shelters and rescue centers and avoid buying animals from a breeder or pet store. In recent years, this concept has become increasingly popular, but there is still a long way to go regarding rescue animals and adoption.
The underlying issues surrounding pet adoption and the truth behind abandoned animals struck a chord with a little boy named Kenny. He has made it his mission to make a change, and we believe he's on his way to doing just that!
He set up an adoption day at five different locations in Florida, and each location had a great turnout. Dogs were featured and the event was sponsored as well. Way to go, Kenny!
