Nik Nak looks like a mixed dog of some kind but it is hard to tell because he was in questionable shape when his owners turned him into a vet and shelter. They demanded the ill dog be put to sleep because, and we quote: “He’s too yucky to live.”

We will hold our tongue with what we want about Nik Nak’s former owners but we will say that the vet did not give up on the sick but thoroughly lovely doggy. He managed to find a foster parent and Nik Nak was given the care the sweet doggy needed to get better and enjoy life!
