We may never know why Mojave’s original owner decided the pup could no longer be cared for, why he felt the pooch needed to be dumped in the middle of the wilderness, but we do know that Mojave is/was as confused as us. Surprisingly, Mojave’s story ends up being a second chance rather than a sad ending!
What he saw in the footage was just heartbreaking. The poor dog was tossed out of the car allegedly by his owner.

It was less than 30 minutes that Mojave arrived at the shelter that a couple came in, met Mojave, and fell in love with him instantly. And just like that, Mojave found two people who will give him his forever home.

We honestly wish we could say the same for other doggies, that they too have all been adopted into loving homes, but it is just not true. So many abandoned dogs starve or are killed by other beasts in the wilderness.
But happily, Mojave is an exception and found his true forever home in record time. Also, those responsible for his desertion are being dealt with. What a wonderful story and we hope, in the future, if someone is seriously contemplating abandoning their pup they will read this story and change their mind. There are always other happy options!
