Something interesting has developed over the years on television. We still have our TV shows and movies with doggies being the cute, cuddly or majestic and lovable heroes but when it comes to “real life” shows pooches have taken a fairly big hit.
More than a few reality shows centering on dogs have turned them into mean, vicious, hard to educate creatures. Certainly, they can be tamed and trained but on television, it seems to take hours, day, weeks and months to get them where we want them.
That is not necessarily true. It, of course, depends on your pooch’s temperament and breed, its family surroundings, but training and communicating with your dog should not be trial – not like it is depicted on TV. It is supposed to be fun for both you and your pet!
After the break, read what some experts say you need to do when it comes to motivating your doggie. As the master, it is up to you to tell your dog how you want him to act.
