Thanks to a lot of investigating and articles, we know that puppy mills are usually a place where puppies get bred in horrible conditions.
There have been many instances where these mills got exposed for what they really are. As much as we desire to adopt a shelter animal, some of us want a particular breed that may be difficult to come across adoption centers.
While it's perfectly okay to purchase the breed you want, you need to be informed and prepared if you plan on buying a ‘designer dog.' Some breeds are in higher demand which causes for a lot of breeders to overlook health conditions to satisfy and supply.
Here are some things to look out for when purchasing a pup. It's important always to be informed before making a decision!
Find out the shocking findings about ‘designer dogs' before purchasing your own on the next page!

With a brain and a little research it’s NOT hard too see a puppy mill. Some folks don’t mind looking the other way if THIER puppy is healthy, and it’s the right $. I recently inquired about a bulldog @ my local pet shop (support small locals). His words “what color and sex? I can call our wholesaler. ” I’m good then because it has too be a mill. Where else do they have puppies laying about for sale?
