Depending on when you think it's the right time to train your puppy, most owners wait until their pup is a little bit older before teaching them tricks. Why is this? Most puppies have a short attention span and are busy sniffing, playing, and being curious about everything. They're much more intent on trying to chew on your furniture while they're teething as opposed to following commands to perform tricks.

That's not to say puppies can't be trained at an early age because that's certainly not the case in the video you'll see on the second page. Pug puppies are smart, and this adorable puppy proves that!

A small pug puppy that's probably not much older than 4-months-old already knows how to follow a command that will blow your mind. It's not an easy command to learn either!
