Anyone who has adopted a dog can tell you they are a responsibility. Even though your pooch is there to love and protect you, they need the same in return. Never more so than with a “special needs” dog.
Bella is such a dog, a pug with two useless front legs, brought on from brittle bones and breakage. She was living with a happy family but they really did not know how to take care of her, to get her all the medical aid she needed. It could have had something to do with the expense or simply not having the knowledge or outlook while taking care of an injured pooch.
Eventually, Bella was surrendered and fostered.
This story could have ended badly for the pretty pug but no one tells Bella that her damaged front legs are a hindrance! She is more than willing to hold her own and if you think wonky front legs prevent her from walking you have another think coming!

They are so special. Ours is almost twelve and has a spinal injury. Back legs problems and can not feel when he has to poop. That does not stop him. He is happy and loving.
