My Dottie will be 13 this September. She’s fading and can’t walk anymore but she’s happy and loved. I’ll keep her as long as she can stay. I have another one who is 16 will be 17 in December!! But I do have a very rambunctious 18 month old and I believe he was sent to me so I could take loosing my Dottie and Otis. They won’t be around much longer both are fading fast. Our Pug, Samson, was two weeks shy of his 15th birthday. Blind but intelligent (learned to use a ramp totally blind) he went out to sunbathe and just never woke up. His ashes are in a nice carved box on the mantle. Can’t wait to get another in a few years. Best dogs ever.
