    My pug, Gretzky, named after the “great one #99, bc he was born in 1999 and we are Hugh N Y Ranger fans, is 17 1/2′ was born January 2, 1999 n that is the year I had my stroke, but my twin sons wanted a pug so bad. My kids are all out of the house, hubby works, so it’s just me and him all day. He’s my best friend, love him do much❤️

    I found my best friend in the middle of the road. He almost got hit twice right in front of me. I was the only person who stopped. Everyone else just kept right on speeding. I tried to find his owner to no avail. I named him Lucky, but I’m the lucky one. I found him 8 months to the day that Iost my Granny who was my best friend. Lucky has comforted me everyday since. He’s a loving, funny, playful little guy. He’s a chug!

    They missed alot of dogs. Schipperkes are well known for their health and longevity. It is not unusual for them to live over 20 years old. Boxers live 10-15 years if bought from a show breeder who tests for DM and ARVC.

    Deidre Catalina Harris thank you. I feel grateful for the time I had with him. And we now have a 14 mo old female pug named Nutmeg (we’ve had her for a year now) who fills our hearts with joy and has helped to ease some of the pain.

    So sorry Wendy!! It is such a painful feeling to lose a loving pet. I had a Westie for 15 years and he passed a few years ago. He was my best friend growing up. I still miss him every day. Just love on your new little bundle as long as you can!!! 🙂
