My vet advised me to get mixed breeds after I lost two Shar peis to cancer. So I have a Puggle and a beagle mix, both great dogs. I doubt that I’ll ever have a purebred again.

My mitzi girl started that, and I took her to the vet, it’s conjestive heart failure. She lived another year as she had her pill everyday, but when she got to the point of not wanting to get up and go to bathroom, and laying around catching her breath, we took her to the vet to allow her to go peacefully. I refused to let her suffer. She was almost 13. Have him checked, at least we knew what was going on and gave us time to prepare ourselves for her departure. Her ashes are in a beautiful Urn in my curio cabinet and it eased the separation. All the best to you both!

Here are two of our 5 rescued/adopted Pugs. Diana, on the left, turned 6 in February and Dougie, on the right, is 12. If snoring were a gold medal sport, Dougie would win, hands down. God, what a racket!

So very True. When all 3 of my rescue Pugs were here……..We were lucky to have a Wonderful Vet…….Our vet bill each year ran into sevel thousand dollars.eye drops $$$ Ear infections….A full time job keeping their ears and little wrinkle folds have to be cleaned daily.I was used to doing this and would do it all over again to have them back……..We have decided to give an SPCA mutt a home soon.My Vet explained a Pug to a T…..they are like a Toddler ……..I love them though.
