Brindle, silver, and fawn pugs are all the rage these days. People love their color and the fact that these breeds have clear, friendly faces they can all love and adore. But let’s not dismiss the black pug!

Black pugs are very common among their breed and because of this, the fact they are not as unusual in color as some, the black pug may be appreciated but also rejected because it is not seen as unique. First of all, in our book there is NO dog, pug or not, that should be disdained and less so our happy, friendly, and ultimately cute black pug!

That tongue sticking out alone is enough to make us melt!

    We had 2 black Pugs. Through the years, both passed away ( at different times). Loved both so much. Right now, I would take another one, no matter the color! But I’m partial to black ones. Love,love Pugs!!!
