If you are a Pug parent or adore this breed in general, then you know that Pugs are irresistible and very easy to fall in love with. Not only that, but this doggie can tug at your heart strings like no other.

If you're considering adopting a Pug and bringing him into your family, you may or may not be aware that Pugs thrive on being the center of attention. They truly are the life of the party!

This doggie breed has a HUGE personality, and when they interact with larger dogs, the size difference between them does not even phase most Pugs. Usually, they will want to be friends or show the larger dog who is in charge! Ha ha!

Pugs are sassy and lovable, but they also take a lot of work and are a full-time job. Your Pug may struggle with anxiety, and there will be times that you wished that wasn't so. If you can't commit a lot of time to this loving doggie, a Pug may not be for you.

If and when you get a Pug expect to laugh. A lot. In addition to laughing and loving on your pup, there are some more realities you should accept about your fur baby.

This much is true: A Pug doggie is worthy of your love and will live for giving you just as much love (if not more) in return!

    I think I might have a vegetarian pug. He absolutely loves bananas, pears, apples, (berries of any kind), cherry tomatoes, cucumber, carrots etc. These are his treats. I went through a long period of trial and error searching for his perfect diet. The poor little guy ended up with an inflamed colon and bloody diarrhea. He’s now stabilized on a vet’s diet, but cannot eat canned food (apparently some dogs can’t tolerate it).

    I love, love, love my Pug. He is 8 1/2 yrs. old and I got him 3 days before he turned 8 wks. If I had the room and the money I would have a hundred of them, that’s how much I love em’
