Woman Comforts Those Who Have Lost A Dog by Doing Something Unexpected and Heartwarming

It may seem like a simple act, but by April posting the very last picture of her pooch Libra on Huffington Post before she passed away, she is reminding everyone to think back on the happy memories. In Libra's final moments on earth, she was happy and even soaked up the sunshine by sticking her head out the window!

Florida resident April Kramer recently shared a sweet tribute to her late dog, Libra, by posting a photo of the pup peacefully enjoying her very last car ride.

“It was my last 30 minutes with my dog that I basically grew up with so I wanted one last picture of her before I had to let go,” Kramer told The Huffington Post. “She looked so peaceful and happy.”

Kramer took the photo in 2013, but shared it to Reddit in November. Kramer hopes sharing the photo can help others cope with the difficulties of losing an animal.

It's hard not to shed a tear over this heartwarming story. Not many people can talk about the experience of losing their pet, but April is being open about it and in turn is touching many lives. Take a closer look at Libra and notice how happy she was before she passed away. She enjoyed her final moments, and there's something everyone can take away from that.

We can all be comforted by the fact that though our pooches have left us, while they were on earth they were happy and loved us unconditionally. And that's very beautiful indeed. Read more about Libra's story on Huffington Post.
