As dog loving human beings we would like to think we would do anything possible for our pooches, particularly if they are in dire need. And certainly, if we can help others in the process, that is good too.
However, what this officer did was above and beyond the line of duty. When he heard the call of a German Shepherd, having run away from his family’s car after an accident, he knew what he had to do.
Patrolman Ague is the model of a champion to many. He hunted for the dog, found her, then – seeing that her paws were injured – actually carried Maya, the German Shepherd, 200 yards to safety in his arms. What is more handsome than a man in uniform? A man in uniform holding a big dog!
