Oh, puppies! We do love puppies. The more, the merrier!

There are times when we go to the pet store just to see the puppies and kittens; then there is time when we’ll visit a friend whose pooch just gave birth to a sweet litter. There is nothing cuter than puppies!

But it does stagger the mind to learn there was one Pug recently that gave birth to ten healthy puppies! Sadly, there would have been eleven, but one poor pup did not make it.

Think about it… TEN puppies born to a little Pug. She was artificially inseminated and while the Dad, clearly on premises, appears proud he is keeping his distance. We can’t really blame him. That’s a lot of puppies!

After the break, check out this litter of charming pups and their very proud and attentive mother. No doubt all of these pups will end up in good homes – but not until they are old enough!
