small dog in the car

It’s a terrible feeling. It’s hot, maybe in the nineties, and you walk by a car and see a dog inside, panting, restless and looking horribly miserable. You know that poor animal is in distress, so you look around for the owner, don’t see anyone, and try the car door. It’s locked.

Okay, you have to do it. You have to do something or that poor animal may die…

But the trouble is you could find yourself in deep trouble, breaking a door or window to let Rover out. After all, that is not your property and what if they sue you? What if the police arrest you for breaking and entering? So many things can go wrong.
