During the winter time, it can get very cold. Since it's chilly outside not only should you stay warm, but your dog needs to stay warm as well. So how do you keep Fido warm when it super cold outside?

First of all, you need to make sure they are drinking a lot of water. If you have a dehydrated pooch on your hand then she could potentially get sick. It's also important to keep towels in a mudroom or in your entry way so in case you are both wet you can quickly dry your pup off.

Another way to keep your pooch warm is to buy him a warm sweater (especially if he's a small breed) and possibly put booties on his paws if the temps are extremely cold. Dogs can get cold, even if they do have fur coats!
