All year long you’ve been hearing from the kids and probably the spouse about how wonderful it would be to have a new family dog. You’ve thought about it long and hard and finally agree, with Christmas just around the corner, that now is as good a time as ever to adopt a new furry family member.

Just think of those bright shiny faces, lit up with joy as their new dog is presented to them. Now, comes the time to actually name said puppy. Of course, the kids will have their own ideas, the spouse too, but just in case they come up with “Mr. Sufferbutt” – and yes we are speaking from personal experience here – it would probably be a good idea to have some suggestions written down to toss out to the family.
