What is it about our master-dog relationship that unites us?

For example, your pup may run away but somehow he'll always finds his way back home. Think of all those wonderful stories about families that move away and the dog somehow gets lost during their transition only to show up on the family’s doorstep months later. We admit we are a sucker for stories like that.

The point is there has to be something, possibly even more than a spiritual link, between a dog and his/her human family. As it turns out there is and it’s called … Oxytocin. It is said to be an evolutionary process/innovation. Think of the ice cubes in your freezer being smashed up. Put in a little syrup and – wha lah –you have a tasty snow cone. What is old is new again!
