INSPIRING: This German Shepherd Service Dog Saved This Vet’s Life

If you struggle with the aftermath of trauma from a traumatic life situation that has taken place or you've served in the military, you may want to consider getting a service dog. A service animal can either be trained before you get her or you can train her yourself.

Recently a retired Marine named Jason Hagg struggled with overcoming PTSD. In fact, he couldn't even leave the basement of his home until a chance encounter with a neighbor gave him hope.

After learning about K9s for Warriors, he set out to get a service dog. After meeting and living with his German Shepherd named Axel he finally faced society. Soon after his life began to change slowly for the better.
