  1. I got my first pug at 8 weeks old. She lived a little over 10 years old. Very smart little girl… AmberBamber.
My second pug, I rescued her 5 weeks after my AmberBamber passed away. She was 7ish… I had her almost 4 years. But she jumped out of the car on the snow and ice. Before I got my footing. She injured her spine. She could hardly walk. And stood in snow drifts to go potty. And she almost stopped eating. So … she wasn’t in pain and suffering… I had her euthanize. I had her almost 4 years.

  2. This is my oldest pug, Thumbelina. She’s 14 and has suffered so much in her life (two surgeries to remove tumors, surgery to remove bladder stones that had gotten so big they blocked her urethra and almost killed her, slipped disc in her neck that made it almost impossible for her to stand…thanks to special pills she’s now getting around just fine) our little girl is a fighter and I hope she stays with us for a really long time.

  3. My pug is 14 years old, he is blind , deaf, has a cough and was diagnosed being a diabetic six years ago, he takes insulin twice a day. Has artiritis in his legs . But believe it or not he is so loveable, loves to go on his walk and doesn’t seem in pain thank goodness .

  4. My pug had similar issues but he had no use of his legs I was his eyes his ears his legs I cooked for him twice a day but he was a happy doggie my vet said as long as he’s in no pain and you r willin to take care of him then I wouldn’t put him down I said ill do anything human lye pros diablo to keep him alive that what I did and don’t regret one min of it. I would doin again I miss him so much he died at home with the ppl who loved him and he loved us Rip Ozzy never forgotton. I love you baby your doin the right thing as long as their no pain good luck.

  5. Joann Savino-Herr I agree, thats exactly what our vet said too. I carry my little guy up and down our steps to go to potty and we cook special food every day for him. Like you we would do anything for our little guy and will do till the day he dies, which I hope we are both here with him when his time comes. I am sending you a hug and special prayers. Like you we keep saying how will we ever go on without our little guy, he is our world!!! Hugs.
