Check these out. They are beautiful and simple wishes our pooches might make if they could simply take us aside and tell us how they feel:

Please give me your attention when I don’t seem well. I might be looking lazy or being stubborn, but sometimes I could be not feeling well. As you already know, I can’t help myself, and I need you to take care of me.

Take me out, and let me make new friends. I need to see the world. The sounds, scents and sights of the world are some of my greatest pleasures.

Take me inside when the weather is bad outside. I don’t want to sleep in your bed or even on the couch, but please don’t leave me outside, I can feel the cold too.

Don’t be angry at me for too long. I’ve learned my lesson, you get mad when I do this and I promise I won’t do it again, you can teach me what makes you mad and I won’t do it, but please don’t be mad at me for too long.

Love me when I get old and stay with me. I’m still the same dog, and I still love you just as much if not more, please love me just as you did when I was small and fluffy, please take care of me and please don’t leave me.

Remember: you are everything to me, and I never forget how you treat me. Please remember that, please remember that everything you do to me matters, every second matters. Please treat me right, take care of me, give me attention and time, love me.

We think the most heart-breaking of above is the older dog hoping his human family will not give him up when he gets old. Would any of us want to be turned away just because we had the nerve to grow old? When we look at our own pooch, as he enters into his eleventh year, we cannot imagine such a thing. He is here until the end!
