
2. Breathing Heavily
Panting is normal behavior that shouldn’t surprise any dog owner. But if you notice heavy panting out of nowhere, it could be stress-induced. This stress could be caused by pain your pet is experiencing.
If you find that your dog is panting a lot and shouldn't be overheated, then he's likely suffering from anxiety. Sure the stress could be caused by a situation, but if he's at home and in his comfort level, you should be concerned. Heavy breathing is not something to take lightly and could mean your pooch is in pain.
