10 Adorable Hybrid Pug Breeds You Never Knew Existed

pugalier

Being a Pug parent is a lot of fun. Even if you don't have a Pug as a furry family member, you're probably close to getting one or are at least around this breed a lot. Their infectious and playful personalities are just too much fun not to be around! Plus, who doesn't love those adorable curly tails and flat, cute faces?!

There's no doubt about it. Pugs are the perfect breed to have as a fur child and also do really well around human children. If you're thinking about switching it up and getting another dog *gasp* then why not get another Pug, but this time a hybrid Pug breed?

You might be wondering what a hybrid Pug breed is. Well, as we know doggies come in all shapes and sizes. If you breed a Pug with a King Charles Cavalier, for example, you get a Pugalier! This mixed breed, as well as many other mixed breeds, are really too cute for words. Plus, you still get to enjoy a Pug's traits with an extra doggy breed added to the mix!

Trust me when I say you never knew the Pug mixes you're about to learn about even existed, but soon you won't be able to stop thinking about them.

If you don't believe me, I encourage you to head to the next page. There you'll begin to “meet” some furry hybrid Pug breeds that will steal your heart! They are indeed real, and they are very, very precious. Enjoy!

  1. NOT a “snobby, shitty” thing to say….just fact. I happen to love mutts…..but why create more mutts….diluting both breeds used…..and possibly causing that many more crosses to wind up in the shelters or worse.. and yes….I have adopted dogs and rescued dogs…… So….don’t go accusing and treating other people that way without knowing all the facts….

  2. well.. good for you.. and sorry for the accusation… but you made yourself sound so stuck up!!!! You did it to yourself!!!! I judge on what I see!!! I have 8 rescue dogs!!! Al mixed Breeds!!! And they are better than any pure breed… and I love my pure breeds… but the health issues are unbelievable!!!!!

  3. I have to say Pugs are my favorite animal…not just dog BUT is it really in their best interest to breed them? The more you try to keep lines “pure” the more narrow the genetic diversity and the more genetic issues you get. Pugs have issues even when bred properly so I actually believe it’s a disservice to them to keep breeding pure breds. Granted I got my pug from a breeder but being conflicted with how much I love the breed and how it’s probably not responsible to keep breeding these dogs I will only rescue from here on out (we do have 2 mutts from a shelter too). Mutts are much healthier than pure breds for the most part so it’s not a bad thing unless people carelessly breed. People need to stop breeding (even pure breds), spay and neuter and adopt….pure and simple.

  4. Larry, your dog is a cutie and I’m glad you found each other. But he is still a mutt, not a pure breed. Your sweet baby still deserves all the love and perfect home as any other dog out there but he’s a mutt that found his perfect forever home.

  5. I know Pugs don’t need any “help” from other dogs as they are adorable on their own. But we adopted our Peaches when she was 6 months old and we fell in love with her at first sight. And she’s just as adorable.

  6. Penelope Russell first. I have a rescue. He came to me at 50 lbs. he is a English Bull dog . Very badly abused. Second my pugs I pay for so I don’t get a MUTT! Are you jealous that I can pay for a full breed? Third before my pug I took rescues. So really you don’t know me. I think you are a very funny person to point out others. Look in the mirror before you open your mouth you might wend up with your own foot in the mouth. Get to know someone before you speak.
