If you are like us, you enjoy walking into pet stores. Maybe you're picking up supplies like fish food or cat treats. But while you're there, you begin roaming the aisles and checking out all the charming little critters, wish you could house them all, and hoping they'll find a forever home.
You look at the faces of the puppies, wishing you could be the one to take them but there are reasons why you have to turn you back on the pooches; mostly having to do with expense.
You can spend a fortune on a dog and that's before you've even factored in buying their food, a leash, some fun toys, not to mention the cost of having them vaccinated … Of course, all the rest can come in time but what about the price of the dog itself? Some pure bred pups can be sold for thousands of dollars. Often, even some of the handsome mix breeds are not cheap!
