Every day when you drive it's a habit to put on your seat belt. It's like brushing your teeth. So why do not very many people take the time to belt in their doggy too? Think about it. You call your pug your fur baby and yet you're not belting her in. Imagine if you were to get into a car accident. She could get injured or worse, die.

Yes, the likelihood of getting into a car accident with your pooch is slight, but it's still important to treat your pooch like the family member that she is. Remember, all family members wear seat belts! 😉

Luckily there are a few things you can do. You can invest in a pet seat belt that buckles in the same place your seat belt goes and attaches to your dog's harness. Or, you can get a pet car seat, which allows you to put your seat belt around the car seat and connect the strap from your pup's seat to her harness.
