This story has a remarkable turnaround, as we hinted at, and you will be delighted with what happened! Some might even say it was a miracle! We are sure this fox's rescuer was having thoughts pretty close to that when he picked him up!
When he returned after eight hours, you can imagine this kind man's surprise when he saw the fox was still alive!

The little fox was somehow able to find the strength to continue fighting for his life, and the man picked him up and headed straight to a veterinary hospital. Hopefully, he will be nursed back to health.

We may never really know how the poor fox was able to keep himself alive but we eagerly commend this man's compassion. This poor small creature deserved a second chance and, hopefully, with proper care, he will be cured and grow up strong.
If a fox sanctuary does not keep him we are sure, when he is well enough he will be re-released into the wild, knowing that mankind is probably not as bad as he at first thought! For more on this little fox's story check out Boredom Therapy.
